Position - Brand Communications Assistant

THE ROLE

The role will report and assist in all day-to-day work of the Brand Communications Strategy Manager. The Brand Communication Assistant will support Spell’s brand positioning in the market, relationships, and overall brand communications. This position is offered as a permanent part-time role and will be imperative to the success of the marketing and communications team. The role will be based in in Sydney, however applications from the Northern Rivers Region will also be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in communication tasks including writing press releases and brand related copy
• Assist in communications to external brand relationships including celebrity, influencer, industry peers and media
• Communications with external PR Agencies
• Assist with and facilitate brand collaborations and partnerships
• Provide industry insight to relevant departments
• Assist with monitoring the PR portion of overall Marketing Budget
• Recognising and developing relevant pitches for positive media opportunities
• Recognising and seeking brand opportunities that benefit the brand position, budget or future proofing
• Sample management
• Processing PR orders
• Event assistance

 

ABOUT YOU

You have the ability to support the Marketing Department in all communications, brand vision strategy from idea to fruition; work with Events on brand activations and play a part in Spell’s fashion industry network connection. You are an excellent communicator with outstanding attention to detail.

DESIRABLE

• Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience (agency experience preferred)
